When I began this blog in 2005, our family life was picking up steam. Our kids ranged in age from 19 to 9, and I blogged about the Whole New World I was experiencing as an adoptive parent of older children. For six years, more or less, I blogged my reflections and discoveries. But in time it became too difficult to recount the emotional, psychological and spiritual turmoil that suffused my life during those difficult days.
I blogged less frequently, and finally stopped in 2011.
But things have been changing for me again, and it's time to launch a new blog. My new blog will focus not on my "whole new world," but on a "whole new generation," and my continuing discovery that adoption is as critical for the next generation as for the first.
